Plumbers in Australia have licensing requirements that differ from state to state but it is generally accepted a 4-year apprenticeship with a further minimum experience of 2 years (6 years total) and a further curricular requirement as a benchmark for licensing. Licensed plumbers are also expected to maintain minimum relevant training requirements to maintain their plumbing license
Top notch. You can just tell that they know what they are doing. The installation of a complete AC heat pump system and replacement of all ducts was done perfectly. Very happy with them. I even called very recently to get some other work done and they found a quick fix and did not charge me anything. Why take a risk with someone that may be cheaper, but do bad installations or create problems later. Try them and you will be happy with the work. Highly recommended.
The difference between pipes and tubes is simply in the way it is sized. PVC pipe for plumbing applications and galvanized steel pipe for instance, are measured in IPS (iron pipe size). Copper tube, CPVC, PeX and other tubing is measured nominally, which is basically an average diameter. These sizing schemes allow for universal adaptation of transitional fittings. For instance, 1/2" PeX tubing is the same size as 1/2" copper tubing. 1/2" PVC on the other hand is not the same size as 1/2" tubing, and therefore requires either a threaded male or female adapter to connect them. When used in agricultural irrigation, the singular form "pipe" is often used as a plural.[19]

I have a new plumbing company that I trust. There pricing was fair and they were very efficient. Michael is a very pleasant young man and I was extremely pleased with their performance. I will definitely hire them again for any plumbing needs in Dallas. They were scheduled between 3 - 5 and actually arrived at 2:30. After not having a sink since December 2017, it was really great that I did not have to follow up. They apologized for "being early".

Despite the Romans' common use of lead pipes, their aqueducts rarely poisoned people. Unlike other parts of the world where lead pipes cause poisoning, the Roman water had so much calcium in it that a layer of plaque prevented the water contacting the lead itself. What often causes confusion is the large amount of evidence of widespread lead poisoning, particularly amongst those who would have had easy access to piped water.[14] This was an unfortunate result of lead being used in cookware and as an additive to processed food and drink, for example as a preservative in wine.[15] Roman lead pipe inscriptions provided information on the owner to prevent water theft.

Had a clogged drain line in my upstairs bathroom. Called John Moore Services and made an appointment for the next day. Edwin G. was the Field Technician to come out to my home. I explained to him the problem and then he explained the options to me. I told him to go with the best option. Drain line was unclogged. He was very professional and very knowledgeable. He explained what he was going to do and also took pictures of the repairs once he was done. Overall it was a great experience and I have to give Edwin G. and the John Moore Services a 5-Star for a job well done. Couldn't ask for anything better, and will be using them in the future. Thank you Edwin G./John Moore Services.

When you book a plumber, whether it's to fix a broken boiler or to unclog a drain, you want to know they're skilled enough for the task at hand. Nothing is worse than sending an amateur with a wrench to look at your pipes. Odds are, there will be more damage than when they started. All plumbers on the Handy platform are vetted, verified, and background checked way before they arrive at your home, so you can be sure that they're the right person for the job.
"We have found our plumber for life! Jim is awesome! We just bought a house with a leak in the foundation, and in spite of the complicated and extensive nature of the repairs needed, Jim quoted us an incredibly reasonable price. Having just closed on a house, though, we were extremely short on funds, and so to help us out, Jim did a temporary fix for much less, and even though he was going above and beyond and doing this extra work for us, he said he'd even deduct the cost of that repair from the total of the final, permanent repair, when we had that done!! I can't say enough good things about him - there's much more, but I don't have room!"
